Your choice of a Lavor 5.5mm or 4mm adjustable punch needle tool with threader and pouch.
Punch needle embroidery is a modern form of traditional rug hooking that creates continuous loops or flat stitches on a backing fabric. Depending on which side you punch you can create either lots of texture or a more neat and detailed piece. You can use this technique for wall hangings, cushions, rugs and anything else that you can dream up!
This punch needle is suitable for use with 12-14 count Monks Cloth available in my shop or similar fabric used for rug hooking.
Use chunky, bulky weight yarns and 4 ply rug wool with the 5.5mm needle. You can even use 1/4" strips of fabric.
Use medium weight yarns with the 4mm needle.
Finer yarn can also be used in both needles if doubled up.
